Queen City Law is pleased to welcome Mathew to our Immigration team, strengthening our expertise in New Zealand immigration law and business and investment migration.

Mathew holds a Bachelor of Laws from Victoria University of Wellington and a Bachelor of Business Studies from Massey University, and is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.on.

Mathew joins Queen City Law with more than a decade of experience across Immigration New Zealand (INZ), having held a range of operational, technical and leadership roles. At Queen City Law, he will put this experience to work for clients, helping them identify potential risks early, understand the requirements of their immigration pathway and build well-supported applications from the outset.

His background is particularly valuable in complex business and investment matters, where understanding both the legal requirements and the practical operation of the immigration system can be critical to navigating the application process effectively.

Mathew also brings a strong appreciation for the personal and commercial decisions that sit behind immigration matters. With Thai heritage, he understands the importance of cultural considerations when assisting clients and their families through significant immigration decisions.
