I am very pleased to welcome you to the firms latest website in 2012 - we have now had a few and in fact yet another version is already in creation.

We have endeavoured to make our latest website interesting and also have made the QCL Law Library a point of distinction.

The QCL Law Library is designed to assist clients with a wide range of legal issues and is constantly updated as the law itself is of course fluid. We hope that some of the check lists will be of practical assistance to you. The underlying philosophy is that if clients are better informed it makes our job easier and legal processes are therefore more efficient and can be less expensive.

As you may have noted earlier, Queen City Law has recently been judged New Zealands leading Property and Construction Law Firm. This award is effective through to November 2012.We have won this award now several years in a row.

QCL has also held the position of NZ Boutique Law Firm of the Year in 2007,2008 and 2009.

For a boutique law firm, we at Queen City Law essentially punch well beyond our weight. We currently represent a range of companies and individuals who are leaders in their respective fields in New Zealand. For example, Madison Recruitment was recently voted New Zealands Leading Recruiter of the Year.

We are very proud to be providing one stop shop legal services to some of New Zealands leading and most innovative companies. Nevertheless, we are equally proud to represent normal people with any legal requirements they may have. Such people may see engaging lawyers as akin to going to their dentist. We do our very best to take the pain out of the process and endeavour to treat all clients with the respect that they deserve.

Like other professional service industries, law firms are generally only as good as their staff. Queen City Law is extremely lucky to have a number of lawyers with outstanding abilities in quite a diverse range of legal matters. Our staff are insightful,energetic,approachable and very talented. We go out of our way to assist clients reach their commercial objectives, instead of getting lost in the vacuum of the law and have found that our emphasis on providing value added services has served the firms clients extremely well over the years.

In terms of technology, Queen City Law has one of the best legal data bases around. We believe in sharing and collaboration. Accordingly, 100 page Commercial Contracts, Construction Agreements, Shareholders Agreements, Business Plans and so on can be forwarded through to clients at the flick of an email and final documentation can therefore be completed on a collaborative basis between us and our clients if required. Increasingly, more and more of our work is being undertaken on this basis.
